cat28Veterinary acupuncture is increasing in popularity and for good reason! This unique Eastern medicine technique has been shown to offer great results to pets who experience pain and discomfort as a result of a variety of physical conditions.

We are pleased to announce that Michael Braunstein, DVM, certified veterinary acupuncturist, is available Thursdays 8:00am-1:00pm and Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm for pet acupuncture.

All acupuncture techniques (dry, aqua or electro) are used to stimulate parts of the body to release certain substances such as beta endorphins or cortisone. Dr. Braunstein likes to use a combination of the three types of acupuncture to give immediate, delayed and long-term relief. Acupuncture is used to provide relief for numerous conditions including arthritis, joint pain and muscle aches associated with aging or injury, behavioral issues and many other problems.
