Dr. Marisa Herrod - Veterinarian

Dr. Marisa Herrod was born in Southern California, and she moved to DFW with her family when she was 12 years old.

She was raised with a sweet miniature goldendoodle dog named Belle, who inspired her to devote her life to animal welfare.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University in 2017 with an undergraduate degree in Zoology. She then went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She is particularly passionate about surgery and internal medicine.

She owns two spoiled golden retrievers, Huckleberry and Apple, who keep her on her toes! In her free time, she enjoys traveling and interior design. She moved back to DFW to join North Dallas Veterinary Hospital, and she is excited to be back!
